Dalziel High School 'All Shook Up'

Barons Gate by Dundas Estates was delighted to play a part in Dalziel High School’s annual school show this year as it sponsored the event.

More than 100 S1-S4 pupils put their heart and soul into performing the Elvis inspired musical, All Shook Up. Audiences were left wanting more as the show came to a close each night.

S1-S4 pupils have been entertaining audiences since 1992 with annual shows including Bugsy Malone, Calamity Jane, The Wizard of Oz, The Sound of Music and High School Musical.

Jennifer Di Mambro, deputy head at Dalziel High School, said: “We would like to thank Dundas Estates very much for their support this year.

“We have so many talented pupils here and it is fantastic to give them an outlet where they can practice that and get to know their peers outside the classroom. The show isn’t just about the cast performing on the stage, there is a whole list of people from stage management, lighting, sound, music and props that the show couldn’t go ahead without.

“We wouldn’t be able to put on such a high standard of show without the backing from companies like Dundas Estates.”

Bruce Dunlop, managing director at Dundas Estates, said: “Our Barons Gate development in Motherwell is heavily focussed around families and the local community so it is great to be able to support Dalziel High School.

“We sponsored the Choral Shield last term and were so impressed by the pupils that we wanted to get involved with the school show too.

“Well done to everyone involved with putting on such an impressive production.”

Barons Gate is a beautifully located development that features three, four and five-bedroom detached family homes and is located in the heart of Motherwell just off Airbles Road.

The development is a short walk to Airbles railway Station (a main line station) and close to the M8, M73 and M74 making it the perfect base for people commuting to the cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Barons Gate is also close to Strathclyde Country Park which is established as one of Scotland’s leading centres for outdoor recreation, a picturesque venue for watersports, cycling and woodland walks.

Prices start from £199,950 with a host of incentives available to help homebuyers make the move. Dundas Estates is also delighted to be participating in the new Help to Buy (Scotland) shared equity scheme.
