Green fingered Molly wins garden design competition

Pupils from Castlepark Primary and St Marks Primary let their imaginations run wild after Dundas Estates teamed up with them to launch an exclusive competition for the youngsters to get their hands dirty.

After sifting through a variety of high quality entries – including decadent drawings of butterfly gardens, wishing wells and bee hotels – judges chose 11-year-old Molly Alexander as the winner.

The primary seven pupil from Castlepark Primary wowed the judges with a colourful design packed with a vegetable garden and bird feeder which truly showcased her passion for animals and the environment.

Molly will now have the standout features of her design recreated by a professional gardener this summer. Her winning design will also be displayed within the sales centre at the development.
