Dundas Estates scoops two nominations at Scottish Home Awards

We’re thrilled to announce that Dundas Estates has been shortlisted in two categories at the 2019 Scottish Home Awards. The Fullarton has received a nomination in the House of the Year category, and the Elliot is a finalist for Starter Home of the Year.

The Fullarton is a five-bedroom, 1619 ft2 house offering adaptable and versatile space, ideal for modern, growing families. The detached home features a spacious lounge with bay window at the front of the house and an open plan kitchen/dining area at the rear, which leads out onto the garden. The master bedroom – complete with en suite – and two bedrooms are situated on the first floor with a family bathroom nestled between the master and second bedroom. A further two bedrooms and bathroom are located on the top floor of this stunning family home, providing the space a family needs, without the feel of a townhouse.

Dundas includes the Fullarton house type on the majority of its developments.  Currently they are included in the housing mix at Annfields, Dunfermline; Ostlers Way, Kirkcaldy; Calderwood Village, Coatbridge; and Uphall Station Village, West Lothian.

The Elliot is a three-bedroom, terraced or semi-detached house and is a perfect first home. With a floor plan of over 1,000ft2, the house is a very spacious first step on to the housing ladder. The ground floor comprises a generous lounge and an open plan kitchen/diner with French doors that open onto the garden. The first floor has two double bedrooms with built in storage, and there is a good-sized family bathroom. The large master bedroom has an en-suite and is located on the top floor.

The Scottish Homes Awards was established in 2007 to recognise excellence in the Scottish housebuilding industry. It is an independent awards programme, run for the benefit of the housebuilding community, with the objective of helping house builders and housing associations sell, rent or promote their properties more effectively.

Congratulations to everyone on this year’s shortlist. We’re very much looking forward to the ceremony on 13 June in Glasgow!
