Dundas shortlisted in two categories at national housebuilding awards

The shortlist for the 2018 Scottish Home Awards has been announced and we’re thrilled to report that our Kings Court development in Dunbar is a finalist for the Small Housing Development of the Year Award and our Elliot house type is shortlisted in the Starter Home of the Year category.

Kings Court comprises just 20 properties and sits within the walls of a former enclosed garden. It is excellently located close to the beach, train station and high street, and is a beautifully-designed site with a great community atmosphere. The development is also currently shortlisted in the 2018 Homes for Scotland Awards in the Private Development of the Year – Small category.

There is currently just one property remaining within this desirable collection of four and five bedroom detached family homes - a four-bedroom, detached Lewis+, complete with flooring, priced at £368,500 and ready to move into now.

Our Elliot house type is a three-bedroom, terraced or semi-detached house that is an ideal first home. The ground floor comprises a generous lounge and an open plan kitchen/diner with French doors that open onto the garden. The first floor features two double bedrooms with built in storage and a good-sized family bathroom, and the large master bedroom with en-suite sits on the top floor. Covering over 1,000 sq ft, it is a versatile house and would be a wonderful first step on the property ladder.

The Scottish Homes Awards was established in 2007 to recognise excellence in the Scottish housebuilding industry. It is an independent awards programme, run for the benefit of the housebuilding community, with the objective of helping house builders and housing associations sell, rent or promote their properties more effectively.

Congratulations to all those on this year’s shortlist. We’ll see you at the ceremony on 14 June in Edinburgh.
