Dundas Brings a Smile to Roslin Fun Day

Even though the weather wasn’t as good as it could have been, there were lots of sunny smiles when Dundas sponsored and took part in the annual Roslin Fun Day in September. Team Dundas entered into the spirit of the event by setting up a stall offering face painting, colouring in and balloons whilst taking the opportunity to let everyone know that Dundas is building a wonderful new development of 12 family homes in the village.
 
“Despite the wind and rain we had a really positive reaction,” says Heather Birrell, our Sales & Marketing Manager, who helped out on the stall. Glynis our expert face painter painted a grand total of 53 children at the event. “While parents were queuing with their children, I took the opportunity to let them know what was going on and to give out flyers. Everyone loved the sound of our Wallace Crescent development and many said that they would come and take a look.”
 
The Dundas stall was decked out with flags and balloons and had the added attraction of offering shelter from the rain.
 
Other attractions at the Fun Day included a Pipe Band, climbing wall, arts and craft activities for kids, and fund raising stalls organised by local community groups. Back
